Please pray for us as my husbands (Clem) business is very close to losing everything due to lack of business/money. He is a contractor and is bidding on 3 houses and a room addition, to sign one job would even be a blessing to us. I have a very large power bill coming due and I pray that they will let me put it on payments or they will shut our power off on the 1st. Please pray for my parents:George & Nadia Bakan for their health & for my mom to regain her strength and begin to walk better so that she can get out of the wheel chair. Please pray for my health so that I can stick to the insulin diet I am suppose to be on and for me to beable to loose the weight to keep from going into diabetes. Pray for my faith to continue to be strong in these hard times as I have little faith at times. I knoew not where to turn to give my worries to God, so I am asking for your prayers to guide me through. MAY GOD BLESS YOU DUIRNG THIS BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY AND ALWAYS.

Prayer Request for Wedding Delayed For a wedding that has been delayed due to some strong evil influences. May God intervene regardless of the evil influences and bring His plan to fruition for this young couple anyway. And, if it is God’s will, that it be soon because this wedding will bring much light to many! May the graces from this coming month of the Rosary be poured out in abundance for them.

Prayer Request for Mikie This prayer request is for Mikie's healing. His behavior has been pretty awful lately (quite cruel and abnormally immature) and I was asking God to help me understand so I could help. While praying before the Blessed Sacrament a friend came up to me and explained the whole thing. Bottom line his behavior stems from not being loved the way he should have been when he was a child. He was never given unconditional love during his childhood (neglect and emotional abuse...from one parent especially...this parent needs prayers too to stop the damage still being done). As explained by the friend who came to the rescue, they actually have a name for it: Emotional Depravation Disorder. He needs a healing for himself and so that he does not hurt others. That is my concern aside from the damage this is doing to his soul - that he is hurting others (lack of love is disfiguring for the person who does not receive it and then the ugliness that results from it is acted out). The love he does get he rejects because he feels that no one can love him because he is so bad. Yes, he does have a very dark side, but the other side is quite beautiful (there is gold underneath). If he could only see and believe that side he would be able to walk away from the darkness and accept the love that God is so desperately trying to give him, especially from the one who truly loves him without condition. She is getting the worst end of the stick (and the closer they get the worse his treatment gets...sharper "arrows" with flames to push her away from someone who he sees as unlovable.) So, please help us pray for his healing and for the one who loves him to continue to love him unconditionally because it is love that heals. He saw that recently and melted, but because of his lack of trust and deep fear of getting hurt and rejected he ran away from it and closed up again. He thinks he is protecting himself, but really, he is extending his lifelong unhappiness. May he be healed and enlightened to see what he is doing and to the light God is shining his way.
