Safe Harbor Law: Implementation and Implications
Michele Garnett McKenzie, Advocates for Human Rights, and Vednita Carter, Breaking Free, will be present to speak on the Safe Harbors legislation which was passed last summer and changed the understanding of minors caught in prostitution as victims instead of perpetrators. This event is part of the Legislative Awareness Series and if sponsored by the Anti Human Trafficking Working Group.
