LAP ALERTS
The purpose of LAP is to provide opportunities for influencing the legislative process by providing ways for voices to be heard. We write letters and emails, we visit offices, and we write letters to the editor for the express purpose of advancing the agenda of social justice concerns and the values of life, social responsibility, charity and an orientation of world citizen involvement.
Through alerts posted here you will be given the opportunity to act on legislation which is in the process of moving toward enactment (or defeat!) You will learn about the background of the issues at hand and you will be asked to act toward influencing the legislative process.
